Richard Skelhorn, the CEO and join founder of Alderney-based online gambling group BGO Entertainment, has appointed the company’s chief finance officer, Hannah Westley (38), as group managing director, based in Malta.
Westley joined BGO in 2009 as chief financial officer, having previously worked with Skelhorn at the Norwich-based MPCS Group, which she joined as group finance officer in 2007.
BGO was in the news last year following its sale of Mandalay Media brands to Canada’s Intertain Group (see previous report).
The Alderney-licensed BGO company was founded in 2012 by Skelhorn and partner Alexander Holt as a vehicle to consolidate their diverse online business interests into one company.
Originally running casino affiliate businesses in Europe under the CasinoChoice.co.uk brand, the company transformed into an online gambling operator in mid-2009, launching successful online bingo brands on third party software, such as CostaBingo.com, SingBingo.com, CityBingo.com and FancyBingo.com.
In 2011 the company launched an independent i-gaming platform, having developed its own software.
