The Nevada Gaming Control Board (GCB) has announced the appointment of Karl Bennison as Chief of the Enforcement Division succeeding Jerry Markling who is retiring at the end of August.
Bennison currently hold the position of Northern Nevada Deputy Chief of Enforcement. He has worked for the GCB for over eighteen years and began in the Reno Enforcement office as an Agent.
As Enforcement Division Chief, Bennison will manage the Enforcement operations for the Board, statewide.
“I am happy to promote Karl Bennison to be Chief of the Enforcement Division. The Board is involved in many complex regulatory issues not only in Nevada, but around the world; these include complex criminal matters ranging from money laundering to slot cheating. Having an experienced and respected individual, ready to step into the Chief’s role, allows the Board to continue maintaining high standards in regulating the gaming industry,” GCB Chairman A.G. Burnett said.
