New non-executive director appointed at Paddy Power-Betfair plc

The Paddy Power-Betfair plc online gambling group has announced the appointment as a non-executive director of Jan Bolz, effective September 6.

Bloz has over twenty-five years senior management experience across marketing, sales and finance functions, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of Tipico, the leading German sports betting business, from 2011 to 2016.

Prior to this, he held several senior executive roles with Electronic Arts, including that of Vice President of Marketing and Sales for International, and Bertelsmann Music Group as Managing Director of BMG Ariloa Munich.

Paddy Power-Betfair chairman Gary McGann, says that Bolz brings a wealth of global experience across a number of different industry groups, most recently in the sports betting industry where he led the very progressive development of Tipico to its successful sale in 2016. His background and experience will be of significant benefit to the Board.
