Gaming Innovation Group’s (GIG) subsidiary iGaming Cloud announced the launch of Wetten.com, a new sports betting operator for the German speaking market, Thursday.
Wetten.com is the first operator to be powered by the iGaming Cloud platform, making use of a Class 4 b2b Remote Gaming License obtained by iGaming Cloud sister company BettingCloud recently in Malta, which allows the company to supply its sports betting product to other licensed operators.
Wetten.com was designed and developed under the leadership of Daniel Bradtke (CEO) and Gabriel Vollmann (COO), who have opted for a business strategy that focuses on reliability, simplicity and excellent service.
Together, the management duo has more than 25 years of industry experience and this is backed by a team of 8 experienced iGaming professionals.
Wetten.com UX was inspired by elements of the fintech industry and puts intuitive usability into the focus, according to a company statement.
The company has deliberately eschewed adding online casino content in order to concentrate on a comprehensive and easy to grasp sports betting offering in the German language.
Meanwhile iGaming Cloud parent group GIG is developing technology to produce proprietary odds through its subsidiary OddsModel AS. The goal of OddsModel is to be the leader in data driven
odds, and the technology will be commercialised and integrated onto BettingCloud in 2017. The recently founded GIG subsidiary will then offer a range of services including odds feeds, content services, betting engine, risk management and trading tools. These solutions will be sold independently, and can be integrated with GIG’s iGamingCloud platform.
