Betcafe Arena, the Romanian retail sportsbetting operator, has reached an agreement with Spanish sports betting and e-gaming software development firm Optima for the future development and support of the Romanian firm’s online and retail sportsbetting platform, using the Margin Maker 2 product.
Betcafe CEO Vlad Evghenie and his counterpart at Optima, Jacob Curciel signed the agreement this week, with the latter noting that the Romanian team has a number of fresh ideas that his company looks forward to working on.
Optima is a Spanish licensed B2B supplier of turnkey sports betting and e-gaming solutions with partners and customers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. The company’s MGS platform covers tele, mobile and retail betting operations.
The Betcafe Arena deal follows an earlier agreement between Optima and the Bulgarian land and online casino and sportsbetting company Eurofootball Bet, in which Optima has contracted to set up a new multichannel gaming suite that includes the Margin Maker 2 system and the development of new web, mobile, telephone based and retail front-end products.
Optima will also deliver its innovative Optima iShop product recently unveiled at the ICE show in London.
EFBet chairman Tzvetomir Naidenov said that the agreement with Optima was part of a strategy to become the market leader in Bulgaria by offering punters the best and most enjoyable customer experience across all channels.
