Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) and its iGaming platform provider subsidiary iGaming Cloud (iGC) have launched iGC Insights, a new reporting and guided analytics platform that allows users to drive data discovery with visualisations through a self-service BI approach.
Data is visualised and presented as useful information via tables, charts, scatter plots, tree and geographical maps in order to facilitate fact-based business decisions.
The chief data officer at iGC, Aaron Xuereb, says the development has the potential to drive disruptive change for iGC operator partners and GIG’s own casino operations, explaining:
“iGC Insights is all about providing users with a powerful tool to visualise and explore their data. The perfect way to perform analysis and facilitate fact-based decision making,” he said.
“The flagship release of iGC Insights contains the Casino Dashboard, allowing users to analyse data from different perspectives with an easy to navigate web interface. Using interactive data storytelling allows users to create and present guided stories, rich with narrative and graphics, and to communicate insights which facilitate discussion.
“This combined with smart search and exploration enables data analysis through interaction with charts and visualisations or simply typing in keywords.”
Casino Dashboard one of many easy to navigate user interfaces to be released, says Xuereb. Over the coming months, iGC is looking forward to expanding the suite and releasing further dashboards, as well as on-request and scheduled reports.
