The Nantes, France-based software developer Mandala has inked an agreement with Hong Kong social gaming firm 6waves to publish its new social slots title La Riviera on Facebook.
Based in Hong Kong with offices in San Francisco, Beijing, Tokyo, and Moscow, 6waves has established itself as a major global publisher of social and mobile games.
Mandala CEO Nadya Jahan says his company is focused on bringing a “French touch” to social gaming, and through the partnership with 6waves will earn success in the international market.
6waves will handle the international promotion of Mandala’s new title, enabling Mandala to focus on development and improvement.
The La Riviera slot is Mandala’s second game on the Facebook platform. The developer self-published Divinitiz in 2011, demonstrating its design skills by attracting 350,000 players in just two months.
Jim Ying, senior vice president Publishing of 6waves said: “What drew our attention to Mandala was their compelling gameplay and quality graphics. La Riviera captures the core of what people worldwide love about playing slots: excitement, competition, eye-pleasing visuals, and a festive atmosphere.”
