The land casino group Logrand, which operates eight casinos in Mexico, is in expansion mode, and CG Technology (perhaps better known by its former title of Cantor Gaming) is about to benefit from it.
Leveraging its considerable Nevada experience in sports betting, CG Tech will be partnering with Logrand in the provision of a full sportsbook wagering system that will include mobile gambling facilities under the terms of an agreement signed between the two companies this week.
Lee Amaitis, CG Technolgy CEO and president, said that his company has extensive experience in account-based sports wagering and would deploy this on the Logrand agreement.
“This represents our first deal in Latin America, a region we have long seen inherent value in and it underscores our dedication to international expansion as we continue to broaden the reach of our world-class technological platform,” he said.
