A revised version of the UK Gambling Commission‘s Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) came into effect this week, updating a document that was first published in February this year (see previous report) and has subsequently been amended.
The DLA Piper blog notes that the amendments relate to social responsibility clauses to do with automated self-exclusion facilities, which will come into force on 31 October 2015, in line with other amendments which require system development.
There are also updated references to consumer rights legislation, and provisions which require gambling operators to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity which has been approved by the Gambling Commission, with effect from 9 July 2015.
