Gamblers in Prague, Czech Republic will be hard put to find entertainment come September 2015 following an decision by the local government coalition to impose a blanket ban – exempting only hotel casinos – on the city.
Radio.cz reports that the ANO Party, the Social Democrats and the three-way coalition of Greens, Christian Democrats and Mayors and Independents, have agreed in principle to the ban, which was announced this week by Prague Mayor Adriana Krnáčová.
The amendment to local laws, still to be formalised, will see the closure of the city’s gambling venues, with the exception of hotel casinos.
