Has Novomatic exited Australia?

Aussie online gamblers report that Novomatic games previously available to them on various online casino sites have disappeared, and on investigating they were told that the company has withdrawn the games from use by Australian players.

It is believed that the withdrawal is associated with moves by the game supplier to acquire the Australian gaming supply company Ainsworth Technology (see previous reports).

In related news, Russian online punters are reporting that they have been similarly excluded from Star Games and told to clear their account balances by June 30.
