Novomatic Lottery Solutions lands three-year Norsk Tipping games contract

Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS) has been awarded a three-year content contract with an optional one-year extension, by Norsk Tipping AS, the national lottery of Norway. Under terms of the contract, NLS will design and manage instant games and digital versions of the Lottery’s Flax game for Norsk Tipping.

The deal will see NLS providing more than half of the “New Innovative Games” Norsk Tipping requested through a recent mini competition recently. NLS, together with its partner Gamevy Inc., will supply the Norwegian Lottery with a total of six innovative e-Instant games.

Pall Palsson, director of product management at NLS said in a statement Thursday, “We are thrilled that once again our offering has proven to be the best fit for Norsk Tipping’s sophisticated online games portfolio. NLS and Gamevy each proposed five innovative game concepts to Norsk Tipping in this mini-competition and each won three.”

The agreement becomes part of the contract that NLS signed with Norsk Tipping in March 2017, following a competitive tender procedure. Under the terms of the contract, NLS supports the growth and diversity of lottery’s e-Instant portfolio and provides business development expertise in the area of interactive games.
