The Financial Times’ inaugural FT1000 lists the 1,000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015.
Statista identified tens of thousands of companies in Europe as potential candidates. These companies were invited to participate in the competition which many did and others declined.
Some familiar names in the industry made the FT1000 such as SMarkets at no. 25, LottoLand at no. 128, Kambi at no. 657, Spreadex at no. 943 and bet365 at no. 959.
Criteria to participate included revenue of at least Euro 100,000 generated in 2012, revenue of at least Euro 1.5 million generated in 2015, headquartered in one of 31 European countries and that revenue growth between 2012 and 2015 was primarily organic.
“To be named among Europe’s fastest growing companies by a publication as prestigious as the Financial Times is a real honour and further evidence of Kambi’s position as sports betting’s premium and secure choice,” Kristian Nylén, chief executive officer of Kambi, commented.
