Online casino DDoS blackmailers arrested

Two Polish men Piotr Smirnaw (31) and Patryk Surmacki (35) were reportedly arrested by British authorities in connection with a 36-hour DDos attack on Manchester-based online operation Club World Casino, as they passed through Heathrow Airport.

The alleged attack on August 2, 2013 bombarded the website with traffic preventing customers from access.

The duo have been accused of blackmail and unauthorised acts on computers under the 1990 Computer Misuse Act before the Uxbridges Magistrates Court in West London.
