12 Indian online gambling fraudsters from the areas of Mumbai and Hyderabad have been detained by the Indian police on charges of using forged credit cards at internet gambling websites hosted offshore.
The busts follow a complaint by one Srinivas Nayak, representing Casino Pride.com, reports the Times of India.
The group included two women, a police spokesman revealed, and the prejudice caused to the online casino was 39.19 lakh (around GBP 48,000).
