The Isle of Man-based online gambling consultants and hosting services supplier Continent 8 Technologies will be strongly represented at the Monaco iGaming Exchanges (MiE) show in October.
The event, which is new to the e-gaming calendar, is an international show with a special focus on the French market, which has seen significant licensing changes in the last 6 months.
In April this year, Continent 8 announced a strategic partnership with Telehouse in France to provide premium hosting services to the French online gaming community. Since this announcement a number of existing and new customers have installed gaming infrastructure in the French state-of-the-art data centre in order to comply with the strict ARJEL regulations.
Nick Nally, chief development officer of Continent 8 Technologies, said, “Business has been very busy with operators wanting access to the lucrative French market, and many of these will be at the show in Monaco. We are also expecting to meet with many of the incumbent French gaming companies from both the online and land based sectors”.
Richard Ebbutt, head of marketing of Continent 8 Technologies, said, “This is a new exhibition in what is a very important and growing market for Continent 8. We are seeing a trend where many customers need to be hosted in multiple data centres with a distributed geographical footprint in order to target their key markets and comply with local licensing requirements. Where possible they prefer to do so under a single commercial model.”
