Ask Gamblers, an online gambling information portal which Catena Media bought last year for Euro 15 million (see previous reports) claimed in a press release this week that its Casino Complaints section has recovered $10 million for unfairly treated players over the past eight years.
The press release reveals that the Casino Complaints section was set up in 2009 and has since worked on a slew of player complaints regarding unfair confiscations and refusals, or unreasonable delays in paying winning players
“For the sake of comparison, just at the beginning of 2017 the total amount of recovered money equalled $8.8 million,” the company claims, going on to reveal that the complaints team has assisted a total of 6,000 wronged players to recover the rewards due to them from online casino operators.
The Ask Gamblers service acts as an impartial mediator between the player and the casino.
