Online rummy operators braced for permanent ban in Telangana

The Times of India reports that the provincial Indian government of Telangana is about to make two local ordinances banning online skill games permanent with a new bill that the cabinet will consider this week.

The bill will impact online rummy companies which are already engaged in fighting the banning ordinances, and may now have to regroup to counter the new measure, which will likely be introduced in the legislative assembly session that is set to begin on October 27.
