Greek betting firm Organisation of Football Prognostics S.A. (OPAP) posted a 72 percent drop in net profit 2013 amounting to Euro 141 million which it said was driven down by a new tax the country levied on the firm, reports Reuters.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) dropped 67 percent to Euro 221.7 million, coming in below the company’s guidance of Euro 242 million.
