SG Digital’s OpenBet reportedly processed a record number of transactions at this year’s Cheltenham Festival, saying during the annual four-day event, the platform handled over 39 million wagers which peaked at 15,800 bets placed per minute, an increase of nearly 10 percent on the previous year.
On the day of the Gold Cup, won by Native River, Openbet said more than 10.9 million bets were placed, an increase of 2.3 million bets over 2017.
