OpenBet said it had surpassed its Grand National Horse Race record this past weekend with its platform handling 62,000 bets per minute and 22 million sports bets across all its channels, up 27 percent over 2015.
The company processed a mind-boggling 60.5 million account transactions on the day, up 14 percent over 2015.
Preference in using the mobile channel increased exponentially with 75 percent of all remote bets being made through this channel, up from 63 percent in 2015.
