Seville-based platform supplier OPTIMA is experiencing a bumper year in terms of growth assisted by the introduction of a new range of products which include a solution that converts UK retail customer bases from a shop server system to a serverless system.
The solution provides operators numerous advantages which include cost savings, elimination of data bottlenecks between head office and retail shops and seamless support and upgrades streamlined through head office centralisation.
“This is the type of system that has led to OPTIMA becoming the system of choice for many markets including Nigeria where a 1000 shop estate has just been rolled out for market leader NairaBet,” Jacob Lopez Curciel, chief executive officer of OPTIMA, said.
Trials continue on OPTIMA’s iSHOP solution in the UK market, an innovative product enabling customers in retail shops access to the retailers betting options using their mobile devices.
“This way of allowing customers to use their own mobile device to access the same prices as are at the till whilst in the shop not only creates a novel way of betting but also does not require the operator to enter into any financially punitive arrangements with a third party,” Curciel explained.
OPTIMA will showcase these and other innovative products at the upcoming Betting on Sports industry event to be held at Olympia in London from 12-15 September, 2017.
