Paddy Power sort of apoligises to footballer pros

Paddy Power’s outdoor media, situated outside UK football stadia, that suggested second jobs for footballers playing below par has been followed by a public apology in The Sun and The Daily Star UK newspapers.
Un-phased by the feathers it ruffled the first time around with certain UK football clubs such as Chelsea FC, Paddy Power’s apology is addressed to prominent footballers Fernando Torres, Andrey Arshavin, Darren Bent, Jose Bosingwa and Osaze Odemwingi, referring to them “aka the benchwarmers”.
In the “apology” Paddy Power offers the footballers a free GBP5 bet to make up for its insensitive remarks saying tongue in cheek that it “appreciates the incredible drive and dedication it takes to become a professional benchwarmer”.
