Paddy Power to speed up cash-outs

Online bookie Paddy Power is poised to introduce faster cash-out processes in recognition of a key punter demand, reports the Sunday Independent newspaper.

The UK betting exchange Betfair pioneered the fast cash-out service concept, which enables gamblers to cash in their bet before a race or a football match has ended.

Paddy Power’s Peter O’Donovan told investors that the service is just one of a series of technology innovations that the bookie plans to launch in the near future.

“In November we’ll be releasing the first of our cash-out products as well, which would be on football betting, and we expect that to launch over the next week or two,” he said.
