Our readers may recall the beta-launch last year of online gambling group Paddy Power’s Facebook-based real-money sportsbook titled Paddy Power In-Play, which was withdrawn after a brief test period when the gambling group assessed that further development was required.
Since then the company’s technical and marketing teams have been hard at work it appears, changing the title of the product to Paddy Power Social and carrying out what is reportedly an extensive re-engineering job that includes more focus on the social aspects of Facebook-style gaming – principally more player interaction.
The finished and we believe much improved offering is nearing launch, and will be examined with interest by Paddy’s rivals in a very competitive sector of the industry.
