Pariplay heads to Gibraltar

Pariplay Ltd., an online and land gaming technology company, has moved its head office and operations centre from the Isle of Man to Gibraltar after being granted a Remote Gambling licence by the latter, and motivated by the Mediterranean jurisdiction’s status as a global centre for top-tier gambling operators and service providers.

The Gibraltar licence enables the technology company to join group of gambling operations with a presence in the British overseas territory located on the southern Iberian Peninsula.

These include some of the global gambling industry’s biggest operators such as Ladbrokes, bwin.party, BetVictor, Gamesys, and Gala/Coral Interactive, as well as technology firms such as NetEnt, NYX Gaming, IGT (Gibraltar) Ltd., and Bally Technologies.

PariPlay, which has been in business for the past six years, identified its core business as providing social, internet and iLottery technology and land-based casinos with platforms to streamline their operations, and, secondly, to develop a portfolio of top-tier games for operators, including branded and unique casino slots, instant win, scratch cards and bingo games.

Recent game launches include the Atari Black Widow online slot, released in February 2016 as part of Pariplay’s ongoing partnership with the video gaming giant, and the C3 Entertainment-licensed The Three Stooges, brought to market in Q3 2015. The company provides an i-gaming content aggregator platform titled Fusion and boasts content partnerships with Evolution Gaming and BetConstruct.

“Our move to Gibraltar marks the next stage in Pariplay’s long-term roadmap to expand our business into a top-tier i-gaming technology company,” said Gili Lisani, founder and CEO of Pariplay Ltd. in a press statement this week.

“Given Gibraltar’s status as Europe’s most important hub for gambling firms, we’re delighted to relocate our headquarters to a space where some of the industry’s biggest operators are based as well as our main competitors – moving to Gibraltar shows that Pariplay means business.”
