The Football Federation of Australia has approved the extension of its partnership agreement with digital sports media group Perform in a deal which will see the latter providing its services through to the 2018 FIFA World Cup competition.
The agreement, first signed in 2014, requires Perform to ensure the collection, production, packaging and distribution of video, editorial, statistics and data to improve engagement with FFA supporters and generate new revenue.
“Fans of Australian football are flocking to the new responsive websites and mobile apps, while sponsors and brand partners are reaping the rewards with access to a more highly engaged audience than previous years,” Perform’s regional gm Alex Peebles claimed in a statement.
