PERFORM partners FIFA Early Warning System

FIFA subsidiary Early Warning System GmbH (EWS) has entered into a cooperation agreement with digital sports content provider PERFORM in its continued effort to enhance the integrity of football events.

PERFORM’s “Opta” product, providing historical and live performance data will be integrated into EWS’ integrity monitoring system optimising the detection and analysis of suspicious activities in sports betting.

“This cooperation with a leading sports data service provider is a perfect fit for our monitoring approach to ensure an effective and fact-based match analysis,” Ralf Mutschke, director of security for FIFA said.

“Perform is a very strong partner in the global fight against match manipulation, and such cooperation represents a fundamental keystone of our overall strategy.”

SEMINOLE HARD ROCK POKER OPEN HOTS UP

Gonzales takes event 22 and is almost a quarter of a million richer.

Uruguay poker professional Fabrizio Gonzales bested a field of 502 to win Event 22 at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open taking home the title along with a tidy $236 400 pay check.

Fabrizio held the chip lead when he went into heads-up play against Daniel Fuhs, increasing it further with aggressive play.

“He was a tough player, but I think I picked up some good cards. I think I played very good heads up. I was grinding him down and kept the pressure on, and everything worked out,” said Fabrizio.
