Burgeoning African online and retail sports betting operator Supabets has taken the Betradar live betting service on board, expanding its 24/7 live betting offer to 15,000 live matches a month on 16 different sports.
The deal with Betradar includes the integration of the latter’s Betradar Live Channel in 60 retail betting shops across Africa.
Supabets’ CEO, Phillip Anastassopoulos, said: “The partnership with Betradar has significant strategic value to Supabets’ vision statement, as well as future portfolio expansions, as demonstrated by the integration of the Live Channel into our retail business. We firmly believe that this valued partnership will lead to great mutual growth well into the future.”
Gregory Parsons, Betradar’s director sales for the African market said that in-play betting is now gaining increasing attention in African markets, and looks set to become a key turnover driver for bookmakers.
