Play’n go announce next launch

Following up on its recent launch of the Imperial Opera slot, developer Play’n GO has advised that its next release, scheduled for March 22 – is likely to be a 5×5 grid, five reel cascading symbol slot titled Sweet Alchemy.

This is a game with a high variety and entertainment content that will likely keep players engaged and and interested, with rewarding multipliers creating further opportunities.

The colourful theme is presented in cartoon artwork style and depicts all things sweet, from candy to cakes, hosted by a witch called…Candy. The top prize pay-out will come from any four-of-a-kind or more symbols on a line. Animations liven the action on the game which boasts a claimed RTP of 96.5 percent.

A record is kept of a player’s winning lines in the form of a Sugar Rush meter. As this fills up wild symbols are added to the sweet symbols, including striped wilds. A striped wild will remove an entire column or row from gameplay. Dotted wilds also come in to play and will remove a random symbol in its entirety while regular wilds will substitute for other symbols to create clusters.

When the Sugar Rush meter is filled with 38 game symbols, the Mix the Elixir bonus round is triggered. This feature will turn the game into a 9×9 grid where sweets that match can be in any combination, along as they are adjacent on the reels in clusters. Candy Spells and special symbols will appear, including wilds and cherries to help the player earn more wins. Players can benefit from 3 different spells to receive shuffles, up to 12 wilds and symbol destructions to form wins.

Players are then transported to the Elixir of Power round, where they find themselves inside a bar of chocolate and pick for potions. Then it’s off to a treasure hunt for scattered treasures and bonuses up to 15 percent of the player’s base game activity.
