Software developer Play’n GO has released its latest offer, a graphic-rich 50-line slot game based on the legends and lore of the Far East.
Golden Legend players align themselves with an animal such as the benevolent tiger, long-living tortoise, noble bird or the guardian foo dog.
A boat-shaped Gold Sycee, reminiscent of the currency once used in China, serves as a lucky wild symbol to help players complete valuable combinations.
After each winning spin, players can play the Gamble round to multiply their prize by correctly guessing the colour or suit of a mystery card.
Landing the Golden Dragon on any three reel positions, delivers a sequence of ten free spins. Each free spin sees two additional wild symbols successively added to the stacks on reels 2-5 to hopefully help players add to their winnings. Each appearance by the Golden Dragon prolongs the player’s run.
“A great deal of thought and research goes into the themes we choose for our slot games. Golden Legend unites many Chinese symbols of power and prosperity,” commented Martin Zettergren, chief operating officer at Play’n GO.
“For our graphic artists, depicting these symbols to convey a sense of Chinese history and providence has been a gratifying and almost spiritual experience. We would not trade our creative team at Play’n GO for all the tea in China.”
