Online casino operator, PlayOJO, has set its sights on the Scandinavian markets after launching to players in Denmark today.
The disruptive challenger brand has already made a big impression in the UK market with its open and honest terms and conditions, marketing, promotions and bonusing, along with a cashback scheme in which rewards can be withdrawn into punters’ e-wallets at any time. And, the operator boasts – there are no wager-through conditions.
The Scandinavian ambitions of the company are being supported by a Euro 6 million integrated marketing and advertising campaign in Sweden, where the operator has already established a presence. The campaign includes additional placements in digital media, local and national press, billboards and sponsorship, and will launch early next year.
PlayOJO will become one of the top three online casino advertising spenders in Sweden, emulating its efforts in the British market, the company claims.
PlayOJO recently augmented its games suite with products from developer Yggdrasil (see previous reports).
Ohad Narkis, a spokesman for the operator, said in a company statement Thursday:
“We will be supporting this [Danish] launch with increased marketing activity in Sweden, as we look to gain a larger share of the Scandinavian market. We are confident Scandinavian players will accept our brand principals and unique value proposition with open arms.
“A big part of that success comes from having top games from the best suppliers.”
