Software and gaming solutions provider Playtech has expanded its virtual sports portfolio to include a new fully simulated football game.
Other games currently available in Playtech’s virtual sports portfolio include horse-racing, greyhound racing, velodrome and speedway.
Tennis, basketball and trotting games are expected to launch to licensees later this year, all featuring league and tournament and in-play betting.
Elliott Norris, head of virtual sports at Playtech, said: “The portfolio we are able to offer today, and showcase at ICE 2015, is the best the industry has ever seen. The graphics are mind-blowing and we are the only company able to offer full sports simulations meaning that betting and gameplay are as realistic as possible”.
Playtech’s virtual sports games employ graphics based on feature film motion capture technology, shot on location, and using professional athletes, Norris said. Other features include realistic odds, an increase in betting options, multiple languages with local language commentaries and in-game branding.
