Playtech’s online casino provision agreement with Olympic Entertainment Group came to fruition Friday with the launch of the new Olybet brand and website.
OEG has a long-standing business relationship with Playtech as one of its top licensees, and the launch strengthens the partnership as OEG expands its operations into Estonia and Latvia using the new Olybet brand.
Kaido Ulejev, head of OlyBet activity, said Friday:
“With the help of Playtech, we are launching something truly unique to support our landbased casino and sports bar operations, as OlyBet provides the region’s greatest selection of online casino games, a poker interface, the best selection of events and the most favourable odds for sports betting.”
Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG), operating its online gaming operations and a network of sports bars under the OlyBet brand, is the largest provider of casino entertainment in the Baltic region, employing more than 2,500 people.
The group operates land based casinos in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Belarus and Italy, and OEG shares are traded on the main list of Tallinn Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
