Playtech in online deal with Portuguese operator SAS

Playtech has expanded its presence in the European market after signing a significant deal with Portugal’s largest online gaming and betting operator Sociedade de Apostas Sociais (SAS).

In a multi-year agreement, Playtech will power SAS’s entire online offering with the delivery of its IMS player management platform and new sportsbook.

SAS will be the first operator to launch such a comprehensive range of online products in Portugal’s online gambling market since its debut 18 months ago.

Playtech will deploy SAS’s new sportsbook on its new online and mobile sports betting platform supported by data feeds and risk and operational management services including retention, business intelligence and CRM.

Playtech’s single integration solution Playtech BGT Sports’ (PBS) digital offering will enable SAS customers to bet on the move or at home and is expected to go live shortly with an exclusive online and mobile offer.
