PMU expands into the fantasy sports sector

French horse racing and gaming operator Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has expanded into the fantasy sports sector with the launch of its Fantasy League PMU last week.

PMU selected France Pari’s B2B division Sportnco, who supplies and operates PMU’s Eurotiercé sports betting platform, to facilitate the expansion.

“We are delighted to welcome a pari-mutuel specialist into our common fantasy pool and strengthen our ties with the PMU,” Kévin Brocard, Deputy General Manager of Sportnco, said.

Fantasy League PMU will initially offer football and US basketball.
