In what appears to be a further tightening of its controls, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation advised its Philippine Offshore Gaming licence holders this week that they would be inspected by officials from its recently formed Pagcor Monitoring Team to ensure compliance.
The regulator’s Online and Poker Monitoring Unit (OPMU) confirmed that monitoring officials would inspect operational bases and offices, along with the operators’ third party software and live dealer providers, where they are authorised to examine and audit all gaming related activities covered by the POGO licence.
POGO operators are expected to fully cooperate with the monitoring officials, allowing them full access to all aspects of POGO-licensed activity, accounting and administration.
