Pokerstars Casino’s Millionaires Island jackpot hits twice in two days

PokerStars online casino reports that its proprietary Millionaires Island million dollar progressive jackpot has struck twice in consecutive days to pay out two players close to $3.8 million, including a PokerStars Casino $2.4 million record pay-out.

Millionaires Island is a proprietary slot exclusive to PokerStars Casino, and the two most recent jackpots increase the number of millionaires residing on Millionaires Island to four since the game launched in December last year and also takes the total number of millionaires made this year at PokerStars Casino to five.

The largest amount ever to be paid out by the progressive jackpot Millionaires Island – an all-time record at PokerStars Casino – is $2,439,369.27 and was won by a Belarusian player on July 26.

The jackpot winner, who chose not to be identified, had only logged on to play Millionaires Island for the first time three days before making the lucky click.

Millionaires Island crowned another millionaire the next day on July 27 when ‘Stefblue3’ won $1,348,812.57. The 34-year-old Greek restaurant owner and player said: “I thought it was a dream and I didn’t believe it for a few days. It was amazing; I was dancing on the table!”

The restaurant owner has a keen interest in poker and will spend the windfall on family and friends….and on a trip to Barcelona to play poker in a PokerStars championship.
