PokerStars Casino’s Millionaires Island slot has paid out its first progressive jackpot since its launch late last year.

The $1 million guaranteed progressive jackpot paid out $1.5 million to a university student from Uruguay on a $1 bet.

‘LuisCancelaU’ had been playing the slot for three minutes before he hit the big one.

“I ran to my brother who was the only one in the house. I started shouting and shaking him and he was looking at me completely perplexed. I showed him my account so he would believe me.
