Polish bookmaker STS has announced that it has finalised its acquisition of a controlling interest in betting and lottery software developer Greep in the Czech Republic, becoming a co-owner of the Betsys company in the process.
Greep’ has 48 employees and services other operators in Poland, such as Sazka; the developer reported revenues of PLN7.7 million last year.
STS president Mateusz Juroszek said in a statement this week:
“For STS, the contract means greater independence from providers, as well as stability of further development. We invest in modern solutions for our players; the investment in Greep also allows us to think about development outside borders of Poland.”
Jiri Najman, president of Greep, said that following the transaction he would consider opening a common development centre in Poland.
