Poor presidential odds for online gambling opponent

News on 11 Aug 2015

South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham, the main sponsor of the Restoration of America’s Wire Act attempt to federally ban online gambling, has fared poorly following a debate between a slew of Republican presidential candidates recently.

Introducing an interesting no-money betting line on the umpteen Republican hopefuls, the South Point land casino and the respected Las Vegas Review Journal published the swing in odds for and against the various candidates following the Cleveland, Ohio debate, noting that Graham went from 50/1 to 250/1 following an unimpressive performance that is unlikely to get him the GOP’s presidential nomination.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush emerged the 2/1 favourite, whilst Carly Fiorina, a businesswoman and former CEO of Hewlett Packard, recorded a solid improvement, going from 100/1 to 50/1.
