Portuguese regulator seeks public input

The Portuguese gambling regulator Serviço Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos do Turismo de Portugal (SRIJ) has launched a public consultation on the legal framework for online gambling , Decree Law n.º 66/2015, in an ongoing and routine assessment which must be completed by the end of April, marking two years since the regulated market’s inception.

The SRIJ is requesting the opinions of relevant stakeholders saying the evaluation will be enriched by their input.

On completion, the evaluation will be presented in report form to the Tourism Minister at the end of May 2018.

The SRIJ invites participation via sugestoes.rjo@turismodeportugal.pt before February 28, 2018.
