Prima Networks, powered by Microgaming, has signed a letter of intent to be the primary provider of casino and exclusive supplier of poker to the newly merged Dutch gambling organisation, Nederlandse Staatsloterij / De Lotto, once regulations for online gaming permit them to go live.
Prima Networks entered a competitive tender process for the contract in early 2015, impressing Nederlandse Staatsloterij / De Lotto with its software, company culture and focus on building lasting relationships.
Under the terms of the contract, Prima Networks will supply Microgaming’s casino games on desktop and mobile via the Quickfire platform, as well as Microgaming’s respected poker software.
Once integrated with the Quickfire platform, the new Dutch Lottery (whose name will be announced in the near future) will also gain access to third party content from over 20 development partners. The entire range of Microgaming and development partner content is accessible through a single integration.
“We are well versed in regulated markets and working with state lotteries, and winning this contract strengthens Prima Networks’ and Microgaming’s position in the European regulated market,” Loraine Schoevers, director of Prima Networks, commented. “While we wait for the Dutch market to open, we’re busy getting the bespoke solution for the newly merged organisation ready, for when we can launch.”
