Pro Darts Corp partners to bring in-play betting

The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has announced an agreement with SportStat for a live scoring solution derived from televised tournaments and ProTour events and RunningBall AG who will distribute the information to betting companies for the provision of in-play gaming.
“We’re pleased to be working alongside SportStat and RunningBall in this venture,” said PDC chairman Barry Hearn. “They have a proven track record in this field through their work with World Snooker and this is an exciting development for darts.”
Andrew Palmer, SportStat’s business development manager, said: “We are very excited to be the Official Data Partner to the PDC at a time when the popularity of the sport is exploding”.
RunningBall group chief executive officer Giancarlo Tottoli added: “We are delighted to have been appointed as the Professional Darts Corporation’s exclusive and official data distributor to the betting industry – a double in, double out for RunningBall.”
