Last week’s news that online gambling software developer Proactive Gaming had secured a deal to take the giant Swedish land bingo operator Idrottens Spel online focused the spotlight on the Sweden-based software provider…and its plans to penetrate the Latin American market with a comprehensive online gambling offering.
The company has been Sweden’s fastest growing enterprise during the last four years at around 3473 percent, and recently received an award from Prince Carl-Philip Bernadotte or its achievement.
This week the company revealed that whilst its initial success has been largely based on its 3D poker platform, bingo is the next big thing for the software provider.
Pal Burman, the company’s chief executive, said that the plan was to use the firm’s modern and intelligent gaming platforms as the foundation for a state-of-the-art bingo product. In this regard, the opportunity to work with the highly experienced Idrotten group was proving invaluable, he said.
Burman claimed that the Proactive platform was designed for multiple operational activity such as bingo, poker, lotteries and social gaming, and works on all devices – desktop, tablets and mobiles. He said that it was scalable up to hundreds of thousands of simultaneous players, and has a powerful and flexible back office, with the whole package easily integrated with virtually any external system.
“Using the platform, we can easily build and deploy existing and new multiplayer game concepts, and we intend to do so,” Burman said.
Europe has been Proactive’s home market, but Burman has ambitious plans to expand the bingo offering into Latin America, which has a long tradition of playing bingo-like games and a large gambling population.
