Municipal officials from the Shah Alam City Council in the Selangor province of Malaysia have reported a series of raids in the city by a 19-strong task force following a month of covert surveillance operations on premises fronting as snooker centres.
A spokesman said the clientele and managers on the properties were mostly foreigners, and revealed that officials seized a total of 43 desktop computers, along with 40 laptops. No arrests were reported, but names were taken for possible prosecution, and handed to the police.
