European payment service provider Realex Payments will provide payment processing across various channels, currencies, regions and card types for Irish gaming firm Paddy Power in an agreement signed this week.
Realex Payments will provide distinct accounts for each acquirer, channel and for each payment type – a total of 12 distinct channels of payment, each capable of processing in both Euro and Sterling.
Michael Nolan, payments & operational development manager for Paddy Power said; “A key requirement of ours was to ensure maximum customer acceptance to support a non-disruptive player experience. With Realex Payments as part of our card payment architecture we met this requirement via their RealResult service.”
Commenting on the deal, Andrew Yoakley, head of business development, UK and Ireland for Realex Payments said; “Paddy Power process high volumes of transactions through multiple channels to numerous acquirers, so our solution needed to support a complex configuration in a transparent and easily manageable way.”
The payment service provider lists 32Red, Party Poker and recently signed 188Bet and Betsafe amongst its clients.
