Redbet Gaming appoints new action MD

Redbet Gaming Ltd, recently acquired by the Bonnier Group, has appointed Alexis Wicén as its acting Managing Director.

Wicén will additionally take on the role as Director for Redbet Gaming Ltd and Redbet Malta (hldg) Ltd as well as Key Official towards the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA), the regulatory and licensing body for all forms of gaming in Malta.  He has worked in the Redbet Group since August 2008 and was appointed Chief Operations Officer in December 2011.

Wicén thanked the outgoing Michael Bennett for his contribution to the company over the past few years and the board for the trust they have placed in him.

The company did not divulge the reasons for Bennett’s departure.
