Swedish online gambling software and games provider NetEnt has announced that it has signed a license agreement with Resorts Casino, a land and online casino operator in the regulated New Jersey online gambling market.
NetEnt will deliver casino games for desktop and mobile to Resorts Casino and Mohegan Sun online casino brands under the agreement.
Mohegan Sun, located in Uncasville, Connecticut, is one of the largest casinos in the United States and offers online gaming services in New Jersey through a licensing cooperation with Resorts Casino.
NetEnt will be applying for a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch operations with Resorts Casino, while its application for a full license is still under review.
Mark Giannantonio, president and CEO of Resorts Casino Hotel, said in a statement Friday: “We are delighted to be adding the NetEnt games to our portfolio of content. The games perform extremely well in other markets and we are confident that they will do the same in New Jersey. It has been a really exciting few weeks for Resorts Digital Gaming’s business and the addition of these games will only strengthen our product offering further.
Resorts also has online gambling partnerships with NYX Gaming and Pokerstars.
