In a joint statement Tuesday two of the gambling industry’s biggest game suppliers, Scientific Games and International Game Technology, announced that they have reached agreement on a patent cross-licensing deal.
Under the agreement, Scientific Games and IGT will be able to offer games using patented game features from each other’s portfolios, as well as those of other members of the IGT slot game features pool.
Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
IGT has previously signed cross-licensing deals with suppliers like Aruze Gaming, Paradise and Konami Gaming.
